Children

Wesley Memorial is very intentional about its children’s ministries. We are recognized by our Annual Conference as a Safe Sanctuary. We have policies and procedures in place to keep our youth and children safe. We offer a wide variety of programs, activities and opportunities for our children. We offer a quality Nursery for those children entrusted in our care. We are a Safe Sanctuary facility so children must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian at each activity.

Sunday School Classes are offered for children starting at age 2 and going through 5th grade.

Kids In Action meets each Sunday morning. This is where kids learn how to Worship God through word, songs and action.  They begin in Worship and are dismissed for Kids in Action.

Children’s God and Game Time begins at 9:45.

This is a time for children 5 years of age up to the 5th grade to learn about God through play, a short movie and lesson.

• Infant, Toddler and Two Nursery – A nursery is provided in room 110 for those who are not two by September 30th
• Three and Four Year Old Class – this class is held in room 109

We use Orange Curriculum. Kids take home a page each week for Parents to use with them for daily devotions and help reinforce the theme for the month.  There is also a parent app with lots of helpful information.  Go to theparentcue.org

Nursery

We provide a clean, well equipped and safe Nursery for children ages 4 and under during our Worship Services. Extended childcare is offered on Wednesday evenings. Childcare is provided for other events, meetings, activities during the week as needed. All of our staff have been CPR and First Aid Trained, know how to use our AED machine and have taken our Safe Sanctuaries Training as well.
